It wouldn’t be wrong to say that aloe vera is my favourite plant, and for obvious reasons. The limitless uses of this plant are nothing new to hear about. However, today we mention some of its uses for achieving that flawless skin we’ve all wanted.

Aloe vera as a cleanser:

Take fresh aloe vera gel (one medium-sized leaf should be enough). Add about 2 tsp of brown sugar and 1 tsp of olive oil. Mix them lightly and apply to your face rubbing and massaging in circular motion with gentle finger tips. Wash your face with a mild facewash and there you go! Easy as that!

This method will very gently cleanse your pores without being too harsh on the skin. Do this once a week.

Aloe vera face mask:

Take 2 tsp of aloe vera, add a pinch of turmeric, 2 tsp of rosewater and 1 tsp honey. Give them a good mix. Apply it on your face and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash your face and let it air dry. You’ll already notice the change with just one use. Do this once a week for nice clean glowy skin.

Aloe vera as a toner:

The step of toning is often ignored by many people, but it’s just as important as any other step in your skin care routine. It helps to shrink and tighten your pores, preventing dirt from getting into them. Aloe vera, for this purpose, works wonders. Here’s how you can do it.

Take equal parts of fresh aloe vera gel and rose water, and add a few drops of lemon juice. Alternatively, you can also add tomato or cucumber juice instead of lemon. Apply the mixture onto your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water.

You’ve achieved that baby skin we’ve all dreamt of!

Aloe vera for acne and acne scars:

Take 2 tsp of aloe vera gel and add a pinch of turmeric in it. Apply on your face and wash it off after 20 minutes. Keep doing this regularly for 2 weeks to see obvious results.

You can store aloe vera face masks and toners in the refrigerator for feasibility purposes, but i recommend making a fresh one everytime for best results. Remember to always do a patch test before applying any new ingredient to your face. We will keep reviewing more uses of aloe vera in upcoming articles, so stay updated for more.

Do let us know how any of this worked for you. I hope you see as amazing results as we expect you to.
